Biographical Writing
Today we have begun to look at biographical writing with a cold writing task.
Over the next few weeks we will be working on this style of writing so that we can put together our own comprehensive biography at the end of the unit.
Have a look at some of the links below as they will help give you some ideas about what a piece of biographical writing should look and sound like. Hopefully you'll find them interesting too!

What do these biographies all have in common?
How is the information set out and organised?
What tense, person are they written in?
What sort of language/ vocabulary choice does the author make?
This is a great biographical video about the artist Vincent Van Gogh (probably my favourite artist!)
