Homework 23-24

This year, homework will no longer be completed in the homework books we used to use. This year, the weekly expectations are as follows..

A minimum of 3 sessions on times tables rock stars each week (more of possible!) Each should be at least five minutes with a weekly total of 15 minutes or more. Children should complete a "Gig" session at the beginning of each half term and then use "Garage" mode for the rest of the half term. (Gig mode will test the children and find the areas they need to work on, garage mode will then automatically focus on those areas).

Reading- Children are to complete a minimum of at least five reads each week with a log being kept in reading diaries. Children have an account on the read theory website and each exercise on the site counts as a read also ( this will also need to be logged in reading records).

Children have been given user names and passwords for the site above. If you need another copy of their login details, please don't hesitate to ask.

In addition to the above, children should complete one task from the grid below every two weeks and hand it in on the following Monday. These do not need to be done in any particular order and children are free to choose which tasks they want to do.
