Meet your teachers

Mrs Ridd

I have been a teacher in the early years for 10 years and love seeing children play, explore and learn. My passion is outdoor play where the children have the freedom to engage with the natural environment, and learn through all of their senses. In my spare time I like to spend time with my family which includes playing with my 18 month old son and walking our dog Max.

Miss Mogford

I am very excited to be teaching Nursery! I love listening to the children's imaginative ideas and supporting the children to fulfill them. My favourite area of Nursery is the story room, where I enjoy reading stories and singing songs with the children. My favourite book to read is Supertato, I love giving the characters different voices! I am a huge Disney fan so in my spare time I enjoy watching the films and listening to the music. I also sing and write my own songs too.

Mrs Lightfoot

I have worked in Early Years for 10 years and I love watching the children grow in confidence and independence. My favourite areas of play are the home corner and the mud kitchen, where the children use their imaginations and role play. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, mainly stood on the side of a sports pitch! And walking my dog.

Miss Quinn

I enjoy doing arts and crafts with the children. I also love to see them outside having fun in nature. My favourite part of the day in Nursery is song time! I have a 6 year old daughter, we love to go on bike rides and when we're at home we love singing and dancing round the house! We have two kittens called Luna and Sophie who love snuggles!

Your child will take part in a variety of activities outside of the classroom to support their learning in a fun and exciting way. We spend lots of time exploring our outside area so please ensure that your child has a pair of wellies on their peg and a warm waterproof coat.

Write dance - Monday/ Friday

Baking - Wednesday

Forest Schools - Tuesday/ Thursday

Each child will choose a book to read at home and they will be able to change it once a week.
