Hello and welcome to our class page. We are so pleased to be able to welcome you all back after what has been a strange year!

 We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with you and your child this year and look forward to working with you to support your child with thier transition back to school. I am sure that the journey we will make together will be an exciting one, packed full of rich learning opportunities and above all fun! We hope you find the information on this page useful. We look forward to working in partnership with parents and carers this year, and watching your children grow and flourish through their learning experiences.

Below you can find some pictures of our class room. Miss Dawkins, Mrs Williams and I have been busy labelling your trays, creating display to showcase all the amazing work you are going to produce this half term and organising our classroom so it is a place where you feel safe and happy.

Weekly Routines

  • Our PE day is Monday . Children are allowed to come to school on their assigned PE day in their school PE kit.
  • Reading books should be brought into school on a daily basis. We will record the number of reads from your reading diary on a Friday.
  • Homework will be set on a Friday and handed in on a Wednesday. Homework will be set virtually more information regarding how you will access this will be shared soon. Above you will find Maths and English tabs. Here you will find links to maths and english websites which will support with your children's learning at home. 

Autumn Term

Recovery Curriculum

When the childrn return to the focus of our learning will be our R-Curriculum which is centred aroun reconnecting, recapturing, recuperating, reviving and resuming. 

It will focus on supporting the children to re-establish and buld positive relationships with others. It will support the children in managing feelings and behaviour and support their physical and mental health and wellbeing. Above all it will provide opportunities for them to enjoy and achieve. 

This R curriculum will run alongside a focus on foundtation subjects: reading, writing and maths. The children learning under our R-Curriculum will focus on building small steps to develop theit stamina to develop enjoyment for reading and writing focusing on key skills in mathematics.
